Why these numbers
Not a commissioned market study. The floor is what a Toronto seed company will actually write a cheque for without a sales deck. The ceiling stays under a BetaKit event package ($3,500+) and under a 5,000-subscriber tech newsletter slot ($200–$400 per send, which compounds faster than a month on a new site). Tech newsletter CPMs in 2026 run about $30–$60; with almost no audience yet, CPM math would price this at zero, so we don’t use it. Month billing on brand units because founders budget that way. Featured transfers are $49 for six months — a classified intro while the board is young, not a homepage brand slot. Raise the rest of the card when Analytics shows real sessions.
